Innovation Awards

We are on the lookout for the most ground-breaking product or service currently on the market within the sector. The inaugural DroneX Innovation Award will be awarded to the business that can convince the expert judges at the event that their product or service is exactly that. Each nominee will have the chance to pitch why they feel their product or service is the most innovative and deserve the award.

All the nominees and judges will be announced 6 weeks prior to the event. So keep your eye out for this and get to know the businesses leading the way in the sector.

    • Adrien Bécue: Speaking at the DroneX

      Adrien Bécue

      AIRBUS

      Adrien Bécue (M) is Head of Innovation of Airbus Cybersecurity. He graduated from Toulouse Business School in 2003 with a Master in Aerospace Management. In 2004, he joined the French defence procurement agency (DGA) as a Program Purchaser for Land Weapon systems. In this position he managed a portfolio of industrial and research projects driven by Network-Centric Warfare and Digital Battlefield transformations. He joined EADS group in 2008 to manage acquisition programs in Tactical Communication systems for the French Navy and the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) deployed in Afghanistan. In 2010 he became Research & Technology Project Manager for border security and maritime surveillance projects.

      Since December 2019 he is Coordinator of H2020 project SeCoIIA, addressing the needs of Secure Collaborative Intelligent Industrial Assets for Factories of the Future.

      Peter Littau

      Volocopter GmbH

      After successfully completing his degree in Business Administration and working as a management consultant for six years, Peter stepped into the urban air mobility (UAM) scene scouting and developing future mobility start-ups as a Venture Developer at Innogy Innovation Hub. He played a formative role in the UAM industry in its earliest form. By 2018, he had joined Volocopter and was facilitating the company’s expansion into Southeast Asia. Now, he is strategically positioning the rollout of the VoloDrone as Commercial Lead at Volocopter.
