RIEGL Terrestrial Laser Scanners for Robotic Applications

The RIEGL VMR Robotic Rail Laser Scanning System – equipped with the RIEGL VZ-600i or the RIEGL VZ-400i 3D Laser Scanner provides high-resolution scan data of up to 50 scans per hour in Stop&Go-Mode. These single scanning positions are registered onboard, with high-precision and fully automatically. The VMR standard rail platform can be equipped with an additional axle containing two more electric motors and tires for off-rail operation.

Additionally, RIEGL terrestrial laser scanners have already proven their capabilities integrated to several robotic devices, including underground surveying.
