Dinesh Rempling

Mr Dinesh Rempling assumed the role of "acting" Director, Capability Transformation Division in 2024. Joining Frontex in 2017 he has driven the development of European Integrated Border Management, capability development and the establishing of the Standing Corps. Mr Rempling started his career in 2001 at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, responsible for electrical and illumination systems for submarines, ships and amphibious craft. Working for the European Defence Agency in 2008, he drove research in energetics and detection of explosives, co-managed the development of the first European forensics capability deployed in ISAF in 2011 and lead the sustainability works strand. In 2013 he joined the Swedish Ministry of Defence, leading the submarine cooperation campaigns and representing Sweden in the establishment of the framework for what now is European Union funded defence research.
