Dr. Ryan Kempley and Eddie Devine bring a powerful blend of scientific innovation and defence expertise to ISS Aerospace. Ryan, the founder and CEO, transitioned from a decade in experimental nuclear physics to UAV development, launching ISS in 2015 to bridge science with next-gen aerospace systems. Eddie, Chief Commercial Officer, brings unmatched operational insight from his time as Chief of Staff for Uncrewed Systems at the UK MOD, co-authoring the Defence Drone Strategy and leading key initiatives like the Defence RPAS Network. Together, they drive ISS’s pioneering approach—Ryan leading the technical innovation and Eddie steering strategic integration into defence frameworks. Their shared mission is to deliver autonomous, resilient solutions that solve real-world challenges through centralised intelligence and distributed effect, making autonomy an operational advantage, not a future concept.
