About Joe Leask

Joe Leask is the Decommissioning Manager at OGUK. As part of his remit he works closely with industry, regulators and the UK and Scottish Governments to develop an efficient cost-effective decommissioning capability, sharing best practice and promoting that expertise at home and abroad. He is also custodian of the Industry’s decommissioning standards and guidelines and leads OGUK’s industry forums and workgroups to deliver incentives and respond to government consultations.

Joe gained experience in decommissioning with Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited (RSRUK), working on a significant portfolio of fields at various stages of decommissioning from planning through to execution
