About Paul Westaway

A career in the Ambulance Service and the helicopter industry began in 1987 when appointed as Senior Aircrewman on the UK’s First Air Ambulance. Now as Business Development Director for Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore UK, Paul oversees the delivery of 18 Air Ambulances and 1 full turnkey Police Service in the UK. Business Development in the Aerial Services Market brings together capture management of customer needs, effective marketing and engagement and the eventual service delivery of the operation. As a member of the senior leadership team in Onshore, Pauls' responsibility is to deliver business growth and customer service. Paul is constantly working closely with his colleagues in Flight Operations, Engineering, Safety, Finance, Compliance, Commercial and Training to ensure they deliver. Inserting Innovation and Technology along with customer collaboration on Environment and Sustainability are the new and essential opportunities to make a difference and Paul is keen to take forward.
