Philip Coglan is a seasoned Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) expert with over 15 years of experience spanning military, commercial, and research sectors working in both the UK and Europe. Currently serving as the Drone Test and Development Centre Manager at the Satellite Applications Catapult, he brings deep expertise in UAV operations, flight safety, and regulatory compliance. A former British Army UAS Commander, Philip has led operations in high-pressure environments globally and played a pivotal role in developing safety frameworks for BVLOS operations, research and development for new uncrewed systems and operational delivery.
