Yen-Chen Chen

Yen-Chen is the founder and CEO of Peniel Infrastructure. After earning his MSc in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he quickly made his mark by designing the algorithm for a spherical altitude control system for satellites and developing an integrated air traffic management system for cargo-carrying drones and passenger eVTOLs. Known for his limitless creativity and deep technical expertise, he has consistently delivered groundbreaking solutions in fast-evolving world of engineering. Now leading Peniel Infrastructure, Yen-Chen is pioneering a patented modular outwash mitigation device to address the industry's most persistent challenge: hurricane-like outwash at vertiports, in a cost-efficient way. His leadership is instrumental in transforming urban air mobility by enabling compact vertiport construction in cities and paving the way for next-generation cargo and passenger aerial transport.
