At Windracers we are revolutionizing air transport to make it low cost, reliable and fully automated.

Windracers was originally conceived to bring down the cost of delivering humanitarian aid to remote communities.

First we built a low cost and highly capable drone. It’s a twin-engine, 30 ft fixed-winged aircraft that can carry 100kg up to 1000km so it can carry a meaningful payload and has a very long range. It’s a Jeep of the skies - a flexible, utilitarian vehicle that is easy to configure and maintain.

Then we developed a unique autopilot system that is both affordable and extremely robust, so it can take off, fly and land safely – without the need of a remote pilot, day or night.

Both the aircraft and the flight control system incorporate a high level of redundancy. We’ve flown tens of thousands of kilometres without any issues, in some of the most challenging and hostile environments on the planet, most recently in Antarctica. And we’re trusted by organisations with the most exacting standards, including the likes of Royal Navy and UK Ministry of Defence.
